As a Physical Therapist Assistant, You Can Change Our Community!
This is a PT-owned physical therapy practice, and we’re excited to welcome a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to our dedicated team. In this vital role, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our community members by supporting individualized rehabilitation programs. Collaborating closely with licensed physical therapists, you’ll help empower individuals to regain their independence and mobility in a supportive, comforting environment.
Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 a year with full benefits
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Patient Load: 1-2 patients an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating residents’ physical capabilities and limitations.
- Implement treatment plans focused on enhancing strength and mobility.
- Provide compassionate care while monitoring progress and reporting to the supervising PT.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate residents and families on effective home exercise techniques.
Requirements:
- AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
- Current PTA State license.
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
