Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Work Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are excited to announce that we have an open position for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at our outpatient orthopedic team in California. In this role, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services that help patients recover from musculoskeletal conditions, regain strength, and restore mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Physical Therapists by implementing customized treatment plans.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training.
  • Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, communicating updates to the supervising PT.
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and best practices for recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and maintain detailed clinical records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver coordinated and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Active PTA license in California.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred (new graduates with clinical rotations are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
  • Strong communication skills with a patient-focused and compassionate approach.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
