Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-time | California
Location: Long Beach, California

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $180,000.00 - $200,000 per year + benefits

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will be a key player in the rehabilitation process. Working directly with patients, you will assist in implementing customized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and speed recovery from injuries or surgeries. You’ll be right alongside our Physical Therapists, delivering high-quality care that makes a real difference.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with Hands-On Care: Work directly with patients to carry out physical therapy treatments, from therapeutic exercises to manual therapy, all designed to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Help Patients Progress: Be a part of their journey—track their progress, modify exercises, and provide encouragement to help them reach their recovery goals.
- Patient Education: Explain the purpose behind each exercise and treatment, ensuring patients feel informed and empowered to continue their recovery at home.
- Collaborate with a Fantastic Team: Work with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless, patient-focused experience.
- Document with Precision: Keep detailed, accurate records of each patient’s progress, ensuring that everyone involved in their care has the information needed for the best results.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- A valid PTA license in California (or eligibility to obtain).
- A strong desire to help others, with a focus on patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members.
- An eye for detail—ensuring treatment plans are followed precisely to achieve the best outcomes.
- revious experience in an orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy setting.
- Any additional certifications or specialties (e.g., sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, etc.) are a plus!
