Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic

Location: Blue Springs, Missouri | Schedule: Full-Time (9 AM - 5 PM)

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics

Compensation:$60,000 to $65,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

As a PTA, you’ll support the Physical Therapist in delivering customized care plans, working hands-on with patients to help restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function. You’re not just following instructions — you’re part of the brain trust, part of the healing, part of the reason people walk out our door stronger.

Your Impact:

  • Carry out tailored treatment interventions under the direction of a licensed PT
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional training
  • Apply manual therapy techniques and modalities to assist with pain and mobility
  • Accurately document patient progress and communicate effectively with the care team
  • Educate patients and families on home exercises, injury prevention, and wellness
  • Collaborate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of care
  • Provide encouragement and positivity, becoming a trusted part of each patient’s recovery

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Positive, professional demeanor with great communication skills
  • Eager to work in an outpatient orthopedic setting (new grads welcome!)
  • Passionate about patient care and making a meaningful impact
  • Adaptable and open to learning new techniques and treatment philosophies
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
