Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Location: Saddle Brook, New Jersey

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We’re seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, and function.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and modalities under PT direction.
  • Accurately document patient treatments, responses, and progress using our electronic medical record system.
  • Teach proper techniques, posture, and home exercise programs to help patients stay safe and maintain progress between sessions.
  • Work closely with physical therapists, clinic aides, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and top-tier care.
  • Work closely with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and report any changes in the patient's condition to the physician and family.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Licensure: Current, valid New Jersey PTA license (required)
  • Experience: Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Skills: Strong communication, time management, and a collaborative spirit
  • Certifications: CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
