Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year
Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We’re seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and eager to grow alongside experienced physical therapists, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and modalities under PT direction.
- Accurately document patient treatments, responses, and progress using our electronic medical record system.
- Teach proper techniques, posture, and home exercise programs to help patients stay safe and maintain progress between sessions.
- Work closely with physical therapists, clinic aides, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and top-tier care.
- Work closely with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and report any changes in the patient's condition to the physician and family.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensure: Current, valid New Jersey PTA license (required)
- Experience: Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply
- Skills: Strong communication, time management, and a collaborative spirit
- Certifications: CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
