Physical Therapist Assistant Need in Windsor, CO – Pediatrics

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to children with a range of diagnoses. As a part of our dedicated team, you will deliver patient-centered interventions, support functional goals, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, or Monday to Thursday/Tuesday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on short- and long-term goals with active caregiver involvement.
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions in the patient's natural environment to support goal achievement and improve functional outcomes.
  • Engage in collaborative communication with the treatment team to ensure the most effective care for each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment interventions, progress, and patient status, adhering to medical and company standards.
  • Apply clinical judgment and ensure safety during treatment sessions for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited institution.
  • Current Colorado state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (CO).
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR software, such as WebPT.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
