Staff Physical Therapist Assistant Needed in Windsor, CO (Pediatrics)

Join our team as a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant and play a vital role in delivering care to children with diverse diagnoses. In this role, you'll support functional goals, implement evidence-based interventions, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for every child.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on achieving measurable goals with active caregiver involvement.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in the child’s natural environment to improve functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure comprehensive and effective treatment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatments, progress, and patient status in compliance with professional and company standards.
  • Apply sound clinical judgment to ensure the safety of patients and staff during therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.
  • Active Colorado state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, such as WebPT.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to educate patients and families on home exercise programs effectively.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field.
