Job Opportunity: Pediatric Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Stateline, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to children with a variety of physical challenges. You will play a key role in assisting children in developing their strength, motor skills, and overall physical health in a fun and supportive environment.

Who are we looking for?

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

  • Current Nevada state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred but not required.

  • Passion for working with children and contributing to their development and well-being.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.

What you will do:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.

  • Provide hands-on care to children, assisting with exercises, mobility training, and strengthening activities.

  • Track patient progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Educate and engage families in the therapeutic process, providing home exercise programs and tips for ongoing development.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for each child.

  • Support and encourage patients through their therapy journey in a positive and motivating manner.

  • Participate in team meetings, training, and workshops to enhance professional development.
