Job Opportunity: Pediatric Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Silver Springs, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to children with a variety of physical challenges. You will play a key role in assisting children in developing their strength, motor skills, and overall physical health in a fun and supportive environment.
Who are we looking for?

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current Nevada state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred but not required.

Passion for working with children and contributing to their development and well-being.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Current CPR/First Aid certification.

What you will do:

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.

Provide hands-on care to children, assisting with exercises, mobility training, and strengthening activities.

Track patient progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Educate and engage families in the therapeutic process, providing home exercise programs and tips for ongoing development.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for each child.

Support and encourage patients through their therapy journey in a positive and motivating manner.
