Your Role:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in performing evaluations, conducting treatments, and creating tailored therapy programs to address each patient's unique needs.
- Lead patients through exercises and therapeutic activities, encouraging them every step of the way and ensuring they feel supported throughout their recovery journey.
- Use specialized physical therapy modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance function while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Empower patients and their families by educating them on safe home exercises and recovery techniques, helping them confidently continue their rehabilitation beyond the clinic.
- Keep precise records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- You have an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- You hold current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- While 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, we value a passion for patient care and are open to applicants at various stages of their career.
- You possess a strong understanding of physical therapy principles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to connect with patients on a personal level.
- You’re a compassionate team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently with confidence.
