Physical Therapist Assistant Needed at Physio Flex Therapy Services

Physio Flex Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm)
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 per year, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and assessments, ensuring care and professionalism.
  • Implement treatment plans and modify exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, providing support and encouragement.
  • Apply physical therapy modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to relieve pain and improve function, while ensuring patient comfort.
  • Educate patients and their families on at-home exercise techniques, offering clear guidance and support.
  • Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately and compassionately.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain detailed and comprehensive patient records.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles with a passion for patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
