Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant Needed At Physio Flex Therapy Services

You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists, helping patients on their journey to recovery, mobility, and an improved quality of life.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm)
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 per year, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to perform patient assessments and evaluations with professionalism and care.
  • Execute treatment plans, adjusting exercises and modalities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide hands-on guidance during therapeutic exercises, ensuring patient comfort and progress, while fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
  • Administer various physical therapy techniques, such as heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and other modalities, to enhance function and relieve discomfort.
  • Instruct patients and their families on safe at-home exercises, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to continue their rehabilitation independently.
  • Meticulously track patient progress, document treatment results, and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Foster collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles with a passion for patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
