Looking for Physical Therapist Assistant at Stride Physical Therapy Center
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, playing a key part in providing high-quality patient care and therapy services.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm or 8am - 4 pm)
Salary: $60k to $80k a year plus benefits
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting patient evaluations and assessments with care and professionalism
- Implement treatment plans and adjust exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient well-being is the top priority
- Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with patience and encouragement
- Apply various physical therapy modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to alleviate pain and enhance function while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients and their families on safe techniques for performing exercises and activities at home, offering guidance and support
- Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes in a detailed and compassionate manner
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- 2 years of clinical experience in a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a passion for patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently and within a team, fostering collaboration and respect
