Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant Wanted in Flex Fit Rehabilitation Center

Seeking a Skilled Physical Therapist Assistant – Make a Difference Today! We are seeking a committed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our expert team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with licensed physical therapists to provide personalized, hands-on care that empowers patients on their path to recovery.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm or 8am - 4 pm)

Salary: $60k to $80k a year plus benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting patient evaluations and assessments with care and professionalism
  • Implement treatment plans and adjust exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient well-being is the top priority
  • Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with patience and encouragement
  • Apply various physical therapy modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to alleviate pain and enhance function while maintaining patient comfort and safety
  • Educate patients and their families on safe techniques for performing exercises and activities at home, offering guidance and support
  • Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes in a detailed and compassionate manner
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records with attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • 2 years of clinical experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a passion for patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, fostering collaboration and respect
