Looking for Physical Therapist Assistant in Endurance Physical Therapy
Administers physical therapy treatments as directed by licensed physical therapists, using modalities, manual therapy techniques, and standard exercise protocols. Educates and assists patients with functional tasks such as bed mobility, transfers, walking, and balance. Operates independently with limited supervision and may provide coaching and training to staff on technical procedures.
Salary: 60,000 to $80,000 yearly plus full benefitsKey Responsibilities:
- Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and reporting it to a physical therapist
- Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care
- Treat patients using a variety of techniques, such as massage and stretching
- Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to help patients
- Educate patients and family members about what to do after treatment
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- Must have a CA PTA LICENSE, AAS PTA DEGREE
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
