Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant needed in Physio Flex Rehab Center
Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). In this role, you’ll work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm or 8am - 4 pm)
Salary: $60k to $80k a year plus benefits
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting patient evaluations and assessments with care and professionalism
- Implement treatment plans and adjust exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient well-being is the top priority
- Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with patience and encouragement
- Apply various physical therapy modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to alleviate pain and enhance function while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients and their families on safe techniques for performing exercises and activities at home, offering guidance and support
- Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes in a detailed and compassionate manner
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- 2 years of clinical experience in a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a passion for patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, fostering collaboration and respect.
