Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)– Orthopedic Outpatient

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Kissimmee, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient clinic team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on care, implement treatment plans, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional activities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist with mobility training, gait analysis, and patient education.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
  • Monitor and document patients’ progress and responses to treatment.
  • Collaborate with the PT and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active and valid PTA license in Florida.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient or rehab setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
