Now Hiring: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Wytheville, Virginia

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering therapeutic interventions and supporting patient progress.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year + benefits

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional activities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Apply modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to aid in pain management and recovery.
  • Monitor and record patients’ progress and responses to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with PTs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards.

Requirements:

Licensure: Active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia.

Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
  • Detail-oriented and compassionate approach to care.
