Now Hiring: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Anacortes, Washington

We are seeking a highly motivated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and contribute to the success of personalized care. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapeutic interventions.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training tailored to patient needs.
  • Apply rehabilitative modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to support recovery.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and personalized home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.

Requirements:

  • Active PTA license in the state of Washington.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • 1-2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal settings preferred (new graduates with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
