Where: Los Angeles, California

Annual Income Potential: $70,000 – $80,000 + benefits

Job Details:

We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) in treating patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and ensuring optimal patient care and recovery

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the PT
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities
  • Monitor and document patient progress, responses, and modifications to therapy
  • Educate patients on proper movement techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout therapy sessions
  • Work with PT's, doctors, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and insurance guidelines

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active California PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience: Preferably 1+ year of experience in orthopedic therapy, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience with sensory integration, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), or orthopedics is a plus.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
