Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Naples, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits--

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability, and promote overall fitness and wellness.

Assists in administering physical therapy care programs; monitors and communicates patient’s progress to Physical Therapist and other medical/ allied health personnel. Maintained medical records for each patient.

Evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • State-approved program or whose educational credentials have been approved equivalent by Florida State Required

  • Minimum of two years experience in clinical patient care (per NY State Education Law)

  • Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License

  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and senior care protocols.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
