Physical Therapy Assistant
Position: Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + Benefits
Position Overview
We primarily serve a sports and orthopedic population, including high school, university, and professional sports. The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the supervision of a physical therapist, conducts patient assessment, testing,g and therapy using standard physical therapy modalities to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the evaluation of the client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine the extent of abilities and limitations

Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques, including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program

Observe patients during treatments and report observations to Physical Therapist

Communicate with staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
Qualifications:

Must hold an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and/or have passed the NPTE for Physical Therapy Assistants.

Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice required

Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families and other employees at all levels.

Minimum of one year's experience
