Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Assisted Living Facility

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Location: Sterling, Virginia

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Join our dedicated therapy team in a respected Assisted Living Facility in Virginia, where every resident is treated with dignity, and every staff member is treated like family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the care team
  • Ensure a safe, motivating, and engaging rehab environment
  • Encourage residents and support their goals with empathy and positivity
  • Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to optimize each resident’s experience

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Active Virginia PTA license (or eligible for licensure)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in geriatric care or long-term care settings preferred
  • A team-first attitude and a passion for person-centered care
