Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehab

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 per year

Location: Greenwich, Connecticut

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in implementing patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, providing hands-on care to help patients improve mobility and achieve their rehabilitation goals.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
  • Maintain and organize treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.​
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Set up and monitor therapeutic equipment used during patient sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and self-care strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution; Associate's degree required.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in the state of Connecticut
  • Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
