Full-Time Physical Therapists Needed at Advent Care Physical Therapy in Winchester, VA

Schedule
- Monday to Friday - 40 hrs shift
Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing a treatment program for patients referred by physicians
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to treat a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients
- Be responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness
- You will have the chance to work with a broader team to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based care
- You will provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at the patient’s home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician’s plan of care
- You will consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers
- Meet minimum utilization goals and other business objectives
Qualifications
- Graduate of APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- State License in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Written or verbal communication skills
- Word processing and computer skills
- Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have the ability to exceed their functional goals
- Demonstrate a desire to positively connect with people
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- State licensed as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- Two (2) years of experience
- Current CPR Certificate
Salary
$100,000 - $120,000 a year plus full benefits.
