Now Hiring: Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Charlottesville, Virginia
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Virginia. In this role, you will deliver individualized rehabilitation services to help residents recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their overall mobility and independence.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year + benefits
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess residents’ mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at pain management, mobility enhancement, and fall prevention.
- Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and balance training.
- Utilize assistive devices and recommend mobility aids to enhance residents’ independence.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, occupational therapists, and caregivers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and safety precautions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with SNF regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Licensure: Active and valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric rehab setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with long-term care regulations and rehabilitative care for older adults.
