Now Hiring: Licensed Physical Therapist (Full-Time) – Oregon

Location: Redmond,Oregon
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedics and acute care, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans for patients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics.

Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient (On-site)

Patient Volume: 1-2 Patients per hour

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluate patients using appropriate tests, measurements, clinical observation, and subjective information provided by the patient.
  • Develop individual patient treatment goals and activities based on evaluation of patient data and demographics.
  • Administer treatment to improve and maintain function and evaluate the effects of treatment with consistent re-evaluation through patient subjective and appropriate tests and measures.
  • Instruct, motivate, educate, and assist patients to perform the prescribed treatment plan.
  • Document treatment, response, and progress results in a chart in a timely way.
  • Communicate with medical practitioners to obtain additional information, suggest treatment revisions, and integrate therapy alternatives into patient's care.
  • Maintain patient records in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and company policies.
  • Meet all continuing education, licensing, and compliance requirements as set forth by the APTA and state guidelines.

What you will need:

  • Degree: Master's degree in physical therapy
  • Education: Graduate from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist.
  • Basic Life Support Certification: Required (in person course with American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
