Licensed Physical Therapist – Urgent Hiring!

Location: Richardson , Texas – Assisted Living Facility
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team in Texas. The ideal candidate is driven, compassionate, and committed to excellence in patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse orthopedic caseload, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and more.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, physicians, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans that achieve optimal outcomes.

Job Requirements:

Required:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Texas, or eligible for licensure.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Board certification in Orthopedics (OCS) or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., WebPT, Epic).
  • Interest or experience in sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or specialty certifications (e.g., dry needling, McKenzie, ASTYM, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at functional recovery and pain management.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and home programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and clinic improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture that supports patient engagement and team collaboration.
