Licensed Physical Therapist – Urgent Hiring!

Location: St. Joseph, Missouri– Outpatient Orthopedic
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Job Requirements:

Required:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Missouri Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain one prior to start date).
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • 1+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Board certification in Orthopedics (OCS) or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., WebPT, Epic).
  • Interest or experience in sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or specialty certifications (e.g., dry needling, McKenzie, ASTYM, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical conditions that limit movement and daily function.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other health care professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and strategies for long-term wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
