Staff Physical Therapist

Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to join our growing team in one of our Virginia-based clinics. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, working alongside a team of skilled PTs, support staff, and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal rehabilitation outcomes. As a Staff PT, you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge, refine your skills, and play an active role in patient care. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs
• Provide hands-on therapy, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes within our EMR system
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous improvement efforts
• Engage in professional development through ongoing education and clinical training
• Support clinic growth by providing exceptional patient care and fostering positive relationships with the community
• Contribute to clinical mentoring and training of new staff and students, as applicable

Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program
• Valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in the state of Virginia
• Strong clinical knowledge in orthopedics, neurology, and/or general rehabilitation
• Compassionate, patient-centered care approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care
• Desire to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and grow professionally
