Location: Vienna, Virginia

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation:$90,000-$100,000 per year + benefits

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical capabilities and overall well-being of our residents. You’ll design personalized treatment plans, support post-operative recovery, and help residents maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate resident mobility, pain levels, strength, and functionality.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with residents’ goals and physicians’ recommendations.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions that focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing injury.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and at-home exercises.
  • Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy, and wellness staff to create interdisciplinary care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Medicare and state regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-focused environment that respects and enhances the dignity of our seniors.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia (or eligible for licensure)
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative care team
