Physical Therapist (PT) – Assisted Living Facility

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000/year

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for residents to restore function, alleviate pain, and improve quality of life
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including nurses, occupational therapists, physicians, and families
• Monitor progress, adjust care plans, and educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safety protocols
• Promote preventative care and wellness initiatives within the facility
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current Virginia PT license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or long-term care (preferred)
• Empathy-driven communication and patient-centered thinking
• A passion for supporting independence and dignity in aging adults
