Job Opportunity: Full-Time Physical Therapist – Assisted Living Facility (Texas)

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
Location: Arlington, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team and provide top-tier care to our residents in an Assisted Living setting.
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating residents in our Assisted Living Facility who may be experiencing challenges related to mobility, strength, balance, or post-surgery recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations for new admissions and ongoing assessments for existing residents to determine their rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, focusing on enhancing functional mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and modalities to help residents improve mobility and function.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to each resident's care.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate residents and their families on strategies to maintain and improve function, including safe mobility techniques and exercises to continue post-discharge.
- Promote a compassionate and encouraging environment, fostering trust and motivation among residents during their rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
- A current Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
- Previous experience working in Assisted Living, geriatrics, or rehabilitation settings is preferred. New grads passionate about geriatric care are welcome to apply!
- Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and functional mobility training.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a strong desire to improve the lives of elderly individuals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a busy caseload.
