We are looking for a dedicated physical therapist to join our skilled nursing facility, where we are committed to providing our residents with the best possible care and assistance. Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist, you will play an essential role in improving the physical well-being and quality of life of our residents. You will design and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each resident’s unique needs, empowering them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain their independence. Your expertise will be key in creating a positive environment focused on healing and support.
Salary: $90,000-$110,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Patient Volume: 7 patients a day. 35 patient visits a week
Patient Type: Adult Patients

Job Description:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of residents to determine their physical capabilities and treatment needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving residents' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to address physical impairments.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care.
- Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to maintain and enhance physical health.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active Virginia State license as Physical Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist,
- Strong manual therapy skills and training.
- Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
- No disciplinary actions or board actions on license.
