Full-Time Physical Therapist – Join Our Assisted Living Facility in Washing DC

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Assisted Living Facility in Washington DC. In this role, you’ll work with a dedicated team to help residents improve their mobility, regain independence, and live with more confidence. Your efforts will make a significant difference in the lives of those you care for, all while working in a supportive, professional environment.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Patient Load: 7 patients a day, up to 35 patients weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine each resident’s needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to address mobility and strength challenges.
• Empower families by providing practical exercises and strategies to support recovery at home.
• Work collaboratively with caregivers, nurses, and other team members to provide holistic care.
• Keep accurate and organized records to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Active DC Physical Therapy license.
• At least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience.
• Expertise in manual therapy.
• Experience with EMR systems, such as WebPT.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions on your license.
