Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on goals, diagnoses, and overall health status.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Monitor progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patient and their families on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions and care planning.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current New Jersey state license as Physical Therapist.
- Must have 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist,
- Strong manual therapy skills and training.
- Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions on license.
