Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 per year

Location: Ridgewood, New Jersey

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are seeking a Full-Time Homecare Physical Therapist to join our dedicated and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and experienced therapist to work one-on-one with patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them regain independence, mobility, and a better quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and needs through interviews, observations, and physical testing.
  • Develop personalized physical therapy plans based on patient evaluations, goals, and clinical expertise.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance improvement, and other therapeutic techniques.
  • Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, pain management strategies, and exercises to continue outside of therapy sessions.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, posture correction, ergonomic modifications, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and insurance standards.
  • Accurately document all patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and report any changes in the patient's condition to the physician and family.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in a homecare or outpatient setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent manual therapy techniques, and a thorough understanding of physical rehabilitation methods.
  • CPR and First Aid certified (preferred). Additional certifications in geriatrics or neurological rehabilitation (a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required for travel to patients’ homes).
