Now Hiring: Homecare Physical Therapist (Orthopedic Focus) | Multidisciplinary Outpatient Practice ( Fort Lee, New Jersey)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Join our innovative, multidisciplinary team at a leading orthopedic outpatient practice in New Jersey, where we’re expanding our gold-standard care model into the homecare setting. We’re looking for a Homecare Physical Therapist who’s ready to bring skilled, orthopedic rehabilitation into the homes of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Our team of Orthopedic MDs, PTs, OTs, and Chiropractors works collaboratively to deliver a 360° continuum of care, from evaluation and treatment in our modern outpatient facility to personalized rehabilitation in the patient’s home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based orthopedic therapy in patients’ homes throughout assigned areas in New Jersey
- Collaborate with in-house MDs, OTs, DCs, and outpatient PTs for integrated care planning
- Assess safety, mobility, and function in the home environment and tailor interventions accordingly
- Educate patients and families on exercises, body mechanics, and adaptive strategies
- Document sessions using secure and user-friendly EMR tools
- Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and ongoing clinical education
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey (or eligible)
- Homecare or outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (1+ years), but confident new grads are welcome
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Independent, flexible, and comfortable managing a homecare caseload
- Passionate about personalized, patient-centered care
