Full-Time Physical Therapist Wanted for an Orthopedic Outpatient Practice

Seeking a committed full-time Physical Therapist to embark on a transformative voyage alongside patients, aiding them in restoring motion and reaching their peak performance. Within the domains of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to enhance their quality of life and movement capabilities. Joining a team of two physical therapists and one PTA, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care. Our practice primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance and operates from an advanced 5000 square feet sports medicine facility.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 a year plus with full benefits.
This is an orthopedic outpatient private physical therapy practice located in Washington, DC

Responsibilities:
  • Recognize and fulfill the goals and needs of patients effectively.
  • Maintain a patient load of 1 individual per hour.
  • Possess prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient care.
  • Offer cost-effective treatments aimed at improving clients' motion and mobility.
  • Minimize reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives.
  • Develop care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques.
  • Customize fitness and wellness programs to cater to patients' specific requirements.
  • Provide quality, personalized care based on evidence and proven interventions.
  • Motivate patients throughout treatment to optimize their functioning.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate and work with other healthcare professionals.
  • Evaluate treatment effects, monitor progress, and maintain open communication.
  • Document the services provided for patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program
  • Possesses an active Physical Therapist license in Washington, DC
  • No instances of board actions or disciplinary measures recorded on the license.
  • Demonstrates exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques.
  • Displays proficiency in designing and executing exercise programs.
  • Knowledgeable in using EMR Software, including WebPT.
