Full Time Physical Therapist Wanted for an Orthopedic Outpatient practice located in Anchorage, Alaska

An opportunity awaits for a committed full-time Physical Therapist to become a vital companion in our patients' quest to regain mobility and function at their personal best. Within the realms of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing their quality of life and movement potential. Joining a team of two physical therapists and one PTA, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch care while catering mainly to patients with private medical insurance. Be part of our state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine facility.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 a year plus with full benefits.

This is an orthopedic outpatient private physical therapy practice located in Anchorage, Alaska.

Duties:

  • Identify and fulfill the objectives and requirements of patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Manage a workload of 1 patient per hour efficiently.
  • Possess prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient environments.
  • Provide cost-effective treatments that contribute to the enhancement of clients' motion and mobility.
  • Minimize the need for medications and offer alternative solutions to surgical procedures.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a diverse range of treatment techniques.
  • Tailor fitness and wellness programs to meet the specific needs of individual patients.
  • Deliver personalized, evidence-based care and proven interventions to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Motivate patients throughout their treatment to maximize their functional abilities.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in clients.
  • Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Assess the effects of treatments, monitor progress, and maintain open communication.
  • Thoroughly document the services and care provided to patients.

How to Qualify:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification
  • Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in Anchorage, Alaska
  • Clean record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures taken against the license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques.
  • Skilled in developing and conducting exercise regimens.
  • Proficient in navigating EMR Software platforms like WebPT.
