Full-Time Physical Therapist at Care of Joints Physical Therapy located in Fort Myers, Florida

We are now looking for a committed physical therapist to join our team in the outpatient clinic. Your job will involve helping patients restore motion and perform at their best, which will increase their quality of life and mobility.

Join our team of knowledgeable professionals at our cutting-edge sports medicine facility, where we provide physical therapy and non-hospital-based rehabilitation services.

Work Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm. Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $100k to $120k a year depending on experience.

This is an outpatient clinic physical therapy practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients, addressing their unique goals and needs effectively.
  • Maintain a manageable patient load, dedicating ample time and attention to each individual.
  • Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing from prior experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Utilize cost-effective treatments to improve clients' motion and mobility.
  • Emphasize non-surgical alternatives to minimize reliance on medications.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans, incorporating a variety of treatment techniques.
  • Tailor fitness and wellness programs to cater to patients' specific requirements.
  • Offer evidence-based interventions for personalized and effective care.
  • Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate and work seamlessly with other healthcare professionals.
  • Continuously evaluate treatment effects and monitor patients' progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of the services provided for comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
  • Possesses an active Physical Therapist license in the state.
  • possesses an impeccable license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Exhibits exceptional mastery of many manual therapy modalities.
  • Demonstrates an extraordinary talent for creating and carrying out successful exercise programs.
  • Able to use EMR software, especially Web PT, effectively for precise documentation.
  • Extremely knowledgeable and current with physical therapy techniques supported by research.
