Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and administer treatments for patients recuperating from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries within a home care setting.
- Design personalized treatment regimens leveraging exercises, hands-on therapies, equipment, and stretching techniques to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Establish and monitor individualized treatment goals, ensuring patients achieve their maximum potential.
- Document and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance on the use of assistive devices, ensuring optimal patient self-care and mobility.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on the application of assistive devices and appropriate physical therapy techniques.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as workshops, publications, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in word processing and computer applications.
- Valid State License in Physical Therapy.
- Flexibility and adaptability in approach.
- Prior work experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
