Full-Time Physical Therapists Needed at Mobility Works Physical Therapy in Fort Myers, FL.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Examining, evaluating, and developing a treatment plan for patients with functional limitations and disabilities

  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.

  • Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent history information, the performance of specific assessments, and determination of recommendations and documentation of results.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in implementation of treatment protocols based upon evaluation findings, the patient's presentation, and the evolving health care environment.

  • Consults with other healthcare professionals as indicated. Recognizes and documents changes in patient's condition requiring modification of the plan of care and/or the need for medical/rehabilitation consultation.

  • Completes appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care. Accurately and timely documents and charges for patient care activities in light of our evolving health care environment, painting a clear picture of the patient's course of care including focused initial evaluation/plan of care that establishes baseline and goals, legible daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluation.

  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.

  • Be able to perform and complete treatments assigned on a daily basis, while guaranteeing patient quality care and maximizing departmental productivity.

  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.

  • Attends all appropriate conferences, rounds, in-services and meetings.

  • Participates in team removal of barriers to access, understands CSI measurement data of the sites, and actively engages in the Access NRH initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy (PT) program.

  • Hold a valid state license.

  • 2+ years of Personal Training-related experience (ideally with digital app/solutions) or similar

  • Current CPR Certificate

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage members, being able to quickly develop strong rapport

Salary
