Full-Time Physical Therapists Needed at Mobility Works Physical Therapy in Fort Myers, FL.


We are looking for Doctor of Physical Therapist join our team of health professionals in providing excellent patient care. We got a team with strong values on providing top patient care while offering a great work-life balance. We impact lives by directly caring for various orthopedic populations.

As Physical Therapist, you are part of a team who works together to maximize outcomes for patients through creative, hospitable, evidence-based care.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

Flexible Time

40 hours a week

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality, safe, compassionate patient care in the acute care setting or the outpatient setting

  • Implements treatment programs to assigned patients, based on the treatment plan established by the physical therapist.

  • Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent history information, the performance of specific assessments, and determination of recommendations and documentation of results.

  • Completes appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care. Accurately and timely documents and charges for patient care activities in light of our evolving health care environment, painting a clear picture of the patient's course of care including focused initial evaluation/plan of care that establishes baseline and goals, legible daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluation.

  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.

  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.

  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by manager.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapists

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)

  • License required as deemed necessary in the State.

  • American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification required

Salary:
