Hours: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
As a physical therapist, your duties will include:
- Manage therapeutic care for a specific group of patients in conjunction with the physician and the patient care team.
- Perform evaluations on patients and put customized treatment plans into action that emphasize achieving objectives, involving patients, and providing a good patient experience.
- Throughout the course of the patient's care, perform most of the physical therapy or supervise it.
- Within the parameters of your profession, conduct assessments and treatment plans while abiding by the law and your association's code of ethics.
- Evaluate and assess functional, therapeutic, and rehabilitation status in order to contribute to the creation of the overall care plan.
- When necessary, provide the patient with skilled and intentional therapy care at home.
- Teach patients, their families, and caregivers how to use prosthetic devices, therapeutic appliances, exercises, and/or therapies.
- Set caseload priorities, ascertain daily staffing requirements, and arrange assignments and hand-offs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapy.
- Physical therapy degree, DPT.
- certificate in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or must be obtained within 30 days of the commencement of employment.
- Experience is not necessary.
Salary:
- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year plus full benefits.
