Full-Time Physical Therapists Needed at Body and Spine Easing Physical Therapy Services in Charlottesville, VA

In Body and Spine Easing Physical Therapy Services, we are a committed, caring group of colleagues that provides comprehensive, caring, and convenient board-certified Physical Therapists to children and adults of all ages and diagnoses.

Schedule:

• 7:30am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm

• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Physical Therapist, PT in Home Care evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery in a home care environment

• Establishes treatment plans and treats patients using a variety of methods, including exercise, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them increase their mobility

• Develop and carry out an individualized treatment plan to help patients attain therapeutic goals that will allow patients to perform at maximum potential

• Track and document treatments, responses, and progress

• Reevaluate, redefine therapeutic goals, and develop new treatment plans as necessary

• Recommend and fit patients for assistive devices for self-care and ambulation if necessary

• Provide training for patients, caregivers, families, as well as other health team personnel on using assistive modalities, and appropriate physical therapy procedures

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, etc

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)

• Valid State License in Physical Therapy

• Two years experience in the field

• Written or verbal communication skills

• Word processing and computer skills

• Highly flexible and agile

• Prior work experience not required

Salary:

$90,000 - $110,000 a year plus full benefits.
