Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery in a home care environment as a Physical Therapist, PT in Home Care.
  • Establish treatment plans and utilize various methods, including exercise, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve therapeutic goals and perform at their maximum potential.
  • Track and document treatments, responses, and progress.
  • Reevaluate, redefine therapeutic goals, and create new treatment plans as necessary.
  • Recommend and fit patients for assistive devices for self-care and ambulation if needed.
  • Provide training for patients, caregivers, families, and other health team personnel on using assistive modalities and appropriate physical therapy procedures.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in word processing and computer skills
  • State License in Physical Therapy
  • Highly flexible and agile
  • Prior work experience not required

Salary:

$100,000 - $120,000 per year plus full benefits.
