Full-time Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) needed.
A Physical Therapist is needed as soon as possible. This is the place for you if dealing with pediatrics and improving your community are your passions!

Schedule: Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
  • Maintain appropriate communication with the pediatric patient and family regarding progress, problems, home programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.
  • Refer patients and family members to appropriate services including other professionals, agencies, and resources as appropriate.
  • Consult with physicians on patient progress and maintain appropriate records.
  • Restores and maintains function, improves mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or limits permanent disabilities.
  • Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients
  • Provide clinical treatment to patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training and counseling regarding status, progress, goals, home programming and discharge planning..

Qualifications:

  • One or more years of Clinical experience in an acute care hospital
  • Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to work with pediatric patients
  • Familiarity with hospital medicine practices
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • FL PT License
