Full-time Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) needed.

In patients recuperating from disease or injury, rehabilitation programs enhance mobility, relieve discomfort, increase strength, and minimize or prevent deformity. Participation, planning, arranging, and assessment are some of these actions. It is necessary to comprehend government laws that deal with physical therapy in outpatient settings and demonstrate a working understanding of how they affect patient care management.

Schedule: Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Team members with temporary permits must work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist that has been licensed for a minimum of six months. A supervising licensed Physical Therapist may only supervise one permittee at any given time.
  • Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy.
  • Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Fitness Specialists, Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state where services are rendered
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
